The Work

I have spent my career inside the gap between vision and execution.

With each seat I have held, a through-line has become clearer to me: the technology that powers marketing at scale. The industries have varied. The technical challenges have evolved. The core work has remained remarkably consistent.

More than fifteen years at Northplains and Xinet, the digital asset management platform that pioneered Macintosh-to-UNIX networked file sharing, powered desktop publishing workflows for more than two decades, and brought those workflows to the web. Xinet was the infrastructure the creative and advertising industries depended on daily, and I led the product line for creative enterprises, designers, and production houses who built the world's advertising on top of it.

Other businesses I have worked with have sat on the distribution side of the marketing equation. At Onyx CenterSource, I helped the team move hotel inventory to third-party channels and track commission reconciliation at scale, cutting six to twelve months from time to market on their commission products for the meetings and events industry. At IBS Software, I helped the organization continue that work at global scale — delivering an AWS migration that saved one million dollars annually, pioneering a blockchain contract management proof of concept shipped in under four weeks, and leading the distribution infrastructure that connected their hotel inventory to third-party channels including Expedia and Booking.com.

Alongside that through-line, three years helping the leadership at JumpCloud and Syncro reach their vision for mobile device management — shipping MDM services across Mac, iOS, and Windows and lifting user adoption by one hundred fifty percent. Earlier, I helped the leadership at LightEdge Solutions realize their vision for an enterprise cloud product line.
